Welcome to Stevens F. Johnson's
Third NAIC-NRAO Single Dish Summer School Gallery

Prof. Johnson attended a seven-day school on single dish techniques using radio astronomical data such as acquired at the Arecibo Observatory near Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and at the Green Bank Telescope (GBT) near Green Bank, West Virginia. The School was held at the National Astronomy and Ionosphere Center's (NIAC) facilities at the Arecibo Observatory July 10 through July 16, 2005. Seventy participants from five continents attended.

The best of my photographs are linked below. They were all taken by a 6.1 MP digital SLR camera. For more photos from the School by other participants, go here.

Click on the links to view the individual galleries. Some of the images are of very high resolution, so there may be substantial delays as they are downloaded. You are free to use and distribute the photographs of this gallery subject to fair and reasonable restrictions and requirements.*
